The Royal Oak Public House
The Royal Oak is situated in the centre of Crockham Hill village on the junction of the B2026 and the B269, between Westerham, Oxted and Edenbridge.
The Shepherd Neame pub originated in the 15th century, and still retains some of the original features and until recently had a well in the public bar that was stocked with carp.
Wayne and Mark are the friendly landlords having taken over the tenancy of the pub in May 2006.
The pub has two areas, the public bar and the non smoking restaurant and saloon bar. The public bar area is features numerous historical photos of the village dating back over 150 years, the restaurant area is delightfully decorated with nearly 100 original Tottering by Gently paintings. The restaurant offers a wide range of freshly prepared hot and cold home made dishes, sandwiches, snacks and desserts.
The pub generally operates a non music policy and has no fruit machines or jule boxes which promotes the tradition country pub atmosphere
The is a small but quaint garden at the rear with generous seating and offstreet parking for a reasonable number of patrons.
