Lewins is a large Victorian house (not open to the public) with a 4 acre garden on a south facing slope, at an elevation of over 400 feet the house and gardens offer superb panaromaic views to the Ashdown Forest and beyond. The garden contains three ponds, one natural and one with fountain, raised beds and a selection of interesting trees and shrubs. A special feature of this dramatic garden is the 600 roses, including a rose arched walkway and a 200 yard long rose fence . The garden also contains its own vineyard from which Lewins wine is made. Gravel paths, some gentle slopes, no whellchair access around natural pond.
